"Our relationship with the United States is historic and strategic, any attempts to undermine that will falter," said Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Nayef in his welcome to Riyadh of CIA Director Mike Pompeo. This is reported by the state news agency SPA. Pompeo, who arrived in Riyadh from Ankara, is the first senior Trump administration official to visit the oil kingdom. The prince, who is also interior minister, said his government would continue to combat terrorism.
